I could not pass up the opportunity of shooting the Moon two days in a row. Tonight's shots did not come out the way I wanted but on the other hand I did use a tripod, 2 second mirror lock up delay and a remote shutter release so the photo below should be a bit better than yesterdays post.

- As the moon closed with Earth, it would seem up to 13 percent larger and 30 brighter than normal, NASA scientists said. "The full moon of March 19 occurs less than one hour away from perigee -- a near-perfect coincidence that happens only (every) 18 years or so."
