I can not tell a lie

Today was not a day for me to press the shutter release! I have not even taken the camera out of the bag, that is amazing in itself.

I do not like to post day old photos right along with year old photos so here you are, I hope you like what you see!

The two photos below are from the 2007 Albany Hot Air Balloon Festival last August. Enjoy the photos and I will certainly post something new tomorrow afternoon.

The top photo took about 20 frames to get. The line holding the flag was moving in the wind, the headline holder was moving and the balloon was moving in the wind but I finally got it!

This shot was from on my knees leaning as far back without lying in the grass. It is the best centered basket under the balloon I have shot!

These were taken in Independence Oregon right next to the city park on the Willamette River



I could barely get and keep their attention, the deer were not spooked by me or the camera gear.

Leaf Experiment

I mixed up a formula, found a leaf and this is what happened

The experiment was a success

Not what I wanted here but this will do. I was hoping to have the Leaf Skeleton suspended in the water but no such luck "this time"
