How was your day? Mine you ask.... AWESOME!!!!
I wanted to share how my day has gone today!
First thing I find this morning was the Statesman Journal newspaper ran my photo of Joe Shinkle and 99 West band from the Benton County fair (I went to school with one of his brothers)
Number two, was Tammy (my Wife) was getting a photo of my Niece and her fiance I shot 2 weeks ago framed and matted, well... It looks amazing and should be on a studio wall
Third good thing was I checked the Itemizer Observer another local rag and they ran a different photo I took of Joe Shinkle and 99West in an article about the Polk County Fair.
The fourth and final item was I spoke with a guy that does event and venue promotions that I met at the Oregon Jamboree in Sweet Home last weekend. I sent him my phone and email info and we will be meeting in the next week or two and discuss the possibility for me to photograph Willie Nelson at the Oregon State Fair along with other shows around the Mid-Willamette Valley and other Northwest venues.
So in closing to the post and my day, I was talking with a sister of mine in Portland Oregon and she said I need to buy a lottery ticket.... Sooooo
I am now waiting for my winning numbers to be drawn so I can go get my pair of Nikon D3's or Pentax K20D's along with some awesome glass.
How was your day?
When you have a good day like I had today, the bad days seem like they never happened!
I just do not want to wake up from the dream I am having but tomorrow is my Friday this week

Great news on all your pics getting into papers. It seems that I don't need to say "good luck" with the meeting. My day was a mad rush. Hoping for better today. Ya, sure. I need some time off to get out and take pics.
@Firefly Thanks! Nothing to loose but everything to gain in the upcoming meeting. Hope your day does get better too! Get out and shoot!!!
Really exciting news, what a wonderful day indeed, good luck with the lottery.....my day has been rainy, overcast, and grey....just managed an hour out with my camera......oh how I love the English summer ( hence egg pic) lol
Ann, Thanks! I still have not had a chance to check my ticket. What a thrill that would be :-)
One thing that I have to add to yesterdays post is I was offered a new position with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and accepted the position. Wow what a day yesterday was! I hope that everyone gets the oportunity to experience a day like I had, I am still on cloud nine and reeling from all of the happenings of yesterday. It could have not been better! KC.
