Looking to the South and the view was spectacular.

First use of Flash Triggers
Trying out my new flash remotes today, both flashes mounted on tripods using the new remote triggers. I just wish I had these when did the Sr. photo shoot a few weeks ago.!
What was I thinking when I kept putting these off?
Today I used them to shoot the dogs, (40 FRAMES) unfortunately the dogs are still irritating me. :-)
Mico and Wesley in their favorite spot, in front of a warm pellet stove

Frozen Pansies with some Macro
We are getting some overnight freezing but not very often. I shot with my 18-55, 50 1.7 and 100mm macro, the macro definitely showed the most interesting outcome.
Pansie petal with the frozen dew, 100mm macro.
Pansie blossom with frozen dew, shot with a 50 1.7 manual lens.

Nathan, Our horses new best friend
Today our horses had a visitor, The Farrier!!! At first it was not looking too bad but after the first horse was done, that is when the fun started! It took about 45 minutes to just trim the hooves of one horse. Nathan just trimmed 5 horses at the neighbors and it took under two hours.. Yes we have a challenged horse!
I shot these today at the neighbors where everything was calm.
