This girl is waiting for APPLES! The cows come running for the fence as soon as I get home from work, they think I have more apples for them.
One cow is very vocal, she alerts all the rest that it is snack time and they all come running from the back of the pasture for their treat. It is all quite fun to watch, I get to see it every day, but I am starting to run short on apples from the trees in the yard. Guess I will have to find another tree to harvest from so I can continue the intertainment.

Father-in-Law's 85th birthday gift
Saturday the 23rd we celebrated my Father-In-Law's 85th Birthday. Irv Disbrow opened an envelope that contained documentation for a very special US flag.
The special thing about this flag is it had been flown over the United States Capitol Building on May 2nd 2008, this one was specifically for Irv's birthday.
That was the very best gift he could ever receive especially being an ex-military man

It was only in the mid to high 70's today. I shot this for about a half hour and I was done.The local Fire Fighters are out there today and tomorrow in the hottest part of the day on 4 hour shifts.
It was nice to see the number of people with their air conditioners blowing cool air on them,actually stopped and rolled the window down to give a couple bucks. NICE JOB!
